On January 28, 2021, the lead agency partners for the Near Eastside Quality of Life plan hosted a successful summit for the first time on a virtual platform. About 45 partners, Near Eastside residents and other interested community members attended the summit and enjoyed a refresher on Community Action Teams as well as updates from lead agencies on the work being done on the Near Eastside. In addition, neighbors had the opportunity to convene with a specific Community Action Team in a breakout session for further social interaction and planning for implementation of the Quality of Life plan. We ended the event with a celebration of “wins” that lead agencies achieved in 2020 despite the pandemic.
